2008: Due to
the fact that AOL has stopped hosting user web pages, all of
the stuff which had been in this section, back when I was
using AOL for my web space, is either gone or has been moved
here to this host. [This is why my pages are now here on
Tripod.]
I will still support all of my old CMI
Software products if anyone actually needs
support, but since
the majority of them were written for the WWIV BBS software,
I see little reason to put them back online. Some of those
programs are now over a decade old, and nobody ever contacts
me about any of them. Is there really any demand for them
now? [BCPROG is the exception to this rule, and while it
doesn't have thousands
of users, it does
have users and gets occasional revisions.]
As
for the photo galleries, I have started putting up new albums
under my Facebook profile, where I have unlimited album space
and, quite frankly, a better viewing interface than anything
I could hand-code on my own. My new albums are — at
least for now — all digital pics taken with a Vivitar
ViviCam 3500 [prior to June 2006] or an HP PhotoSmart C618
[June 2006 and later], except for the El Monte High School
album [35mm pics from Nov. 1988]. A
Facebook membership is not
required in order to view my albums.
